THE OPPORTUNITY
Minimal Risk Consultancy is seeking an elite, high-energy Security Operations Manager to lead the planning and delivery of our premium security services across the UK and internationally.
We are looking for a motivated, proactive leader with a minimum of 5 years of operational management experience. This role requires a unique operator: someone who is calm yet firm, possessing the emotional intelligence to blend seamlessly into a global delivery model. You must be equally comfortable engaging with high-positioned principals as you are leading tactical teams in complex environments.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
• Global Integration: Effectively merge into a group-driven structure, collaborating across departments to ensure a unified global delivery model.
• Operational Command: Oversee the end-to-end delivery of international and UK-based contracts, ensuring all activity is safe, legal, and exceeds client expectations.
• Standards & Governance: Drive operational excellence in strict accordance with ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 18788 (Private Security Operations), and ANSI/ASIS PSC.1.
• UHNW Logistics & Briefing: Prepare high-level executive protection taskings, including air/ground travel logistics, detailed client briefs, and dynamic risk assessments.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a sophisticated point of contact for UHNW/Corporate principals while maintaining a "boots-on-the-ground" connection with operators.
• Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and lead operational staff and contractors. You will lead by example through regular site visits and deployments.
• Commercial Oversight: Work closely with the accounts department to consolidate project costs and ensure accurate, timely billing.

Essential Technical Requirements:
• Experience: 5+ years in a Security Operations Management role.
• Elite Background: Substantial experience in high-level Corporate, UHNWI, or Government Close Protection.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 18788, and PSC.1 frameworks and their application in global security delivery.
• Licensing: Valid SIA Close Protection License and FREC3 (or equivalent) qualification.
• Mobility: A "hungry" mindset with a willingness to travel internationally. Must have a UK Driving License, own car, and easy access to London/Heathrow for meetings and recces.
